Mosquitos

Vcs não fazem a menor ideia do que é ser "comido" por mosquitos, aqui nesta época é só o que dá...dias lindos, quentes e cheios de coisinhas que são capazes de fazer miséria.

CALGARY — The man fatally wounded by an intruder who shot him during a home invasion was awaiting trial on drug charges.
Authorities identified the victim of Tuesday’s early-morning home invasion as Cuong Viet Doan, who died in hospital after two masked intruders burst into his family’s home on Marcombe Drive N.E. early Tuesday.
Doan’s wife, who is also in her 50s, remains in critical condition in hospital following Tuesday morning’s incident.
The couple and their adult son were inside the home during the attack and someone called 911 for help around 1:30 a.m.
A man in his 20s believed to be the couple’s son sustained only minor injuries and was released from hospital.
Police are now searching for two people. Both are described as men who were wearing dark clothing.
It was the second time the home has been targeted, and Doan was facing drug trafficking charges.
Investigators have said it’s too early to determine a precise reason for Tuesday’s attack, but drugs are often a motive behind home invasions.
Court documents obtained by the Herald show Doan was scheduled to stand trial next month on three counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. Investigators allege Doan had cocaine, marijuana and ecstasy.
He was also charged last November with two counts of breaching conditions — including a condition forbidding him from possessing drugs.
Doan was scheduled to stand trial on those charges next February with Loan Thi Tran, who was also charged with production of marijuana and possession of marijuana and ecstasy for the purpose of trafficking.
According to the court documents, Tran, 50, lived at the same home as Doan, but the relationship between them isn’t immediately known.
The earlier home invasion happened in April 2009.
